Quite a bit!

We’ve found this approach has helps us keeps cost low, streamline our efficiency, and consistently produce high quality results for our clients.

So if you’re only looking for help with sales tax permits, we’re not for you. But if you want to work with a team that will take over everything (permits, filings, state mail, ongoing support, etc.) you should definitely continue reading.
In general, we’re not most expensive company around. But we’re also not the cheapest (and we aren’t trying to be). But we do deliver incredible results at a competitive rate for our clients. And we’d love for you to join us.
What’s the difference between TaxValet and software?
There are many great tools out there to help you do-it-yourself, but one common trap that online businesses make is not realizing that these are tools. Like any tool, you need to know how to use it, and have sufficient time to do the required work.
One common mistake businesses make is signing up for a sales tax software tool, failing to recognize the amount of time that is needed to do the work each month. Where software is a tool, we are the construction crew that handles everything for you.
Think of it this way … would you purchase Quickbooks (or Xero) and assume all of your bookeeping would be managed automatically? Of course not! That’s why many businesses hire someone who handles their books. The same analogy works with sales tax.
Who isn’t a fit for TaxValet?
We’re a bit biased, but we think we’re the best option out there for E commerce businesses. But here are a few examples of companies that wouldn’t do well with TaxValet:
- You sell non-tangible products (ex. Software, Digital Products)
- Most of your sales happen off-line or at a retail location
- Your business is not making at least $300k/yr in sales (DIY approach is better here)
