**Maryland has exempted certain baby products, medical devices, and N95 masks from sales tax effective July 1st, 2022. **

[H.B. 282](https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2022RS/bills/hb/hb0282e.pdf), exempts diapers, diaper rash cream, and baby wipes from sales tax in Maryland effective July 1st, 2022.

[H.B. 288](https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2022RS/bills/hb/hb0288t.pdf) exempts baby bottles, baby bottle nipples, and infant car seats from sales tax in Maryland effective July 1st, 2022. 

[H.B. 364](https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2022RS/bills/hb/hb0364t.pdf) exempts medical devices including certain thermometers, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, respirators, N95 masks, and K95 masks from sales tax in Maryland effective July 1st, 2022. 

[H.B. 492](https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2022RS/bills/hb/hb0492t.pdf) exempts oral hygiene products including toothbrushes, toothpaste, tooth powders, mouthwash, dental floss, or similar hygiene products from sales tax in Maryland effective July 1st, 2022. 

[H.B. 1151](https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2022RS/fnotes/bil_0001/hb1151.pdf) exempts diabetic care products including insulin, glucose tablets, glucose, drinks, glucose gels, blood and urine ketone meters and supplies, insulin pumps, insulin pump infusion sets, insulin pump reservoirs, continuous glucose monitors and related supplies, syringes, insulin injection devices, insulin pens, insulin pen needles, lancets and lancet devices, and testing strips for measuring blood sugar from Maryland sales tax effective July 1st, 2022.
